March 1st, 2011No point beating around the bush; the group is dead.
We REALLY tried to finish Mayoi Neko. I literally bugged the people working on it for months, but we just couldn’t get things done – everyone was too busy. It’s not like the entire group is dead, but the vital members of the staff are busy/gone, and we practically have no leader now. So it’s time to face it: Mochi is officially dead. We won’t be finishing the projects we had started.
The members of the group who’re still active in fansubbing merged with Ryugan, by the way.
It’s been fun while it lasted, but we all have to move on. Fansubbing, while being moderately fun, isn’t something anyone in the group would give up their personal endeavors for.

We’re not dead
November 9th, 2010No, seriously, we aren’t. I was busy getting my shit together to actually encode Mayoi 13 (!!!), plus RL. Tomorrow, I’ll start catching up on TB and make workraws for all the eps we’re behind on.
I have no idea if this means Mayoi 13 will be released soon. Either way, one less thing for me to worry about so I can work on TB. :V
(I wonder how many times we’ve made a post like this by now…)
ALSO: Yuugu quit fansubbin. He’s still typesetting, RCQCing, and releasing, but yea, he definitely quit fansubbin.
