Holy cow! Thanks for another great release from you guys. Will wait for your Xvid version.

  2. iamthehobo says:

    Woohoo naked men!

  3. SPAMbot says:

Cool. Will wait for the xvid though.

  4. Furcht says:

And the wait for the Xvid begins. Thanks in advance ^_^

  5. Uriel says:

Why everyone who leaves a comment prefer the Xvid anyway? Oh, thanks for the Subs btw, great work as always!

  6. Mr.Chieftain says:

Maybe because mochi-subs is the only group who releases the xvid version of this anime. Thus those who want the xvid will pretty much flock here and some of those who are vocal enough will leave a comment supporting the xvid version proving that there are people who are willing enough to wait for the said release.

  7. iamthehobo says:

See, I don’t really understand that, because from what *I* was made to understand, Xvid is not as good as h264 and hasn’t been for a while. Of course, I don’t encode videos very often so I may be missing something here that isn’t just “people are too lazy to get a good video player.”

  8. Loli moe mahjong! says:

there are people with weaker cpu’s(kids won’t understand because they pest parents). also as i prefer to watch it on my tv through dvd-player with chips and beer.

  9. iamthehobo says:

Really? Aren’t the requirements for h264 like only a 2 ghz proc? Though I guess for burning purposes Xvid is better since most DVD players work with it…

  10. Wesley says:

Any computer from the past five years should be able to handle h264. Sadly, some still have no idea what that means, and like to wait six minutes before their Internet Explorer’s start. IE6, of course.

Eh, thanks Mochi. I always laugh so damn hard at this anime, thanks.

  11. Dango says:

    @Wesley

more like any computer from the past 8-10 years could handle h264. I watched mkv videos on a 2002 dell before. now I switched to sony

  12. Yuugu says:

    Dango is a technology klutz.

  13. Loli moe mahjong! says:

ppl talking about h264 like pro’s, but does any1 thinks about that it’s HD? on my 2.16Ghz celeron it lags.

Wesley showed how smart he is. /sad

  14. Mr.Chieftain says:

i think most 720p HD anime are in h264 which means slow or ancient(like mine) cpu will have a hard time playing those videos specially if the screen is cluttered with text. That’s why i commend fansubbers who take their time doing hardsubs specially on 720p HD anime.

  15. Wesley says:

Nonsense, I’ve seen groups that sub which make even NASA computers lag. (Yes, Koharubi, I’m looking at you. I love your subs, but some parts at Sora no Manimani… just not cool)

h264 runs pretty cool at pretty much all computers from the past five years. Anyway, people waiting on the Xvid’s should still upgrade to better computers anyway. Things like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, games, 1080i/1080p/720p videos, high-end streaming, everything’s gonna come down to computers anyway.

  16. SPAMbot says:

    @Wesley

STFU. Not all people like to watch on PCs. Most of the time people prefer xvids because then they can watch it on their DVD players.

  17. 0.0 says:

    Thanks a lot, Mochi!
Waiting for more Baka To Test To Shoukanjuu release from u >_<

  18. Western Digital says:

    just buy WD tV goddamit1

  19. Loli moe mahjong! says:

it’s like talking to wall… morons like wesley – h264 is only codec, go read what’s HD and SD video first.

  20. Silphie says:

    =/ ..
whats wrong in prefering xvid ver. ?
u cant force ur opinion on others .. some ppl just prefere xvid over mkv .. whats wrong in that ?

anyway .. thnks mochi for these releases =) ! im waiting for the xvid too

  21. T1 says:

You don’t see any great h264 anymore either. I mean check the resolution the file size 720 and….no 175mb files anymore. The funny thing is that people take those files on 720 h264 and compare those to 480 xvid, they take the bigger file size (h264) and compare it with the lower file size (xvid). Tsk tsk You can’t do that! You need to have the same resolution and same file size to compare them. As detail example I present ya baka 5:

    [Mochi]_Baka_to_Test_to_Shoukanjuu_-_05_[400p][XviD][D0643A9E].avi 225.87 MB
    [Mochi]_Baka_to_Test_to_Shoukanjuu_-_05_[720p][h264][A90DCD91].mkv 369.32 MB

Like I said before I don’t see any great h264 anymore, just normal ones which kinda show me the same as what xvid/divx used to show me in the old days. No, I’m not saying that h264 isn’t great, it is but not a lot encoders know how to show that on their encodes.

I stay with xvid because they don’t fill as much as h264 files, I can burn them and watch on my dvdplayer, they don’t lag on my laptop, lol. No, my laptop isn’t that old it just runs a lot of stuff and I don’t want to turn them off just cuz I’m watching avi.

I hope this was an okay explanation for those who wanted to know why we are so focused on xvid(avi containers) and makes those 21 before me thinking a little before they compare xvid and h264 on a sub with different specs.^^

    anyways….BAKA 6 & 7 AVI WANT!

  22. ranmachua says:

I think there are no seeds for Baka 06 avi

  23. ranmachua says:

    Nevermind, it’s ok already

  24. koolboy says:

    err the link cannot leh

  25. Otakus says:

ummm…. for the title, don’t you mean “Me, the Pool, and a Paradise of Swimsuits”, not “Me, Pool, A Paradise of Swimsuits, and” ?
I’m not that picky about the title, but if it can be changed without much hastle, would you mind fixing it please?

  26. koolboy says:

oh sry is the not “Me, Pool, A Paradise of Swimsuits, and” one the link click liao got prob

  27. Otakus says:

the xvid episode title, and maybe also the h264 episode title but not sure, just sounds a bit weird. mochi, can ya fix this please?

  28. Yuugu says:

    Otaku, it’s the right title.
