just find it funny that those ppl who are comparing the translation between groups, have no real knowledge about japanese at all. Sometimes it’s good to point out one or two mistakes, but it’s so irritating when they make a BIGGGGG fuss out of it, and they don’t judge the release as a whole in the end.

Anyway, good choice picking up this show. Honestly, if you picked something (like Kimi ni Todoke, ookami, Durarara, Vampire Bund) that Eclipse(1st) or Frostii(2nd) or SFW(3rd) had already chosen, I wouldn’t have tried your group. Just like how happy I am with Mochi’s Baka that I wun even bother trying other groups. I gave 10, coz i love the fonts used, karaoke, and frequent updates (:

I and many other fans know that gg’s releases are far from ‘quality’… Why they still have so many supporters I cannot fathom. It’s so irritating to see other groups that provide true, quality translations like Mochi not get the respect they deserve.

Is speed really everything? Are people really that shallow? To go for speed over quality? Perhaps, due to their unfamiliarity with the Japanese language, they don’t even know that they are being swindled.

Someone needs to put out a PSA for the fans about this.

Even if there were no other translations available, I will never degrade myself to watch gg’s subs. I’ll even settle for the raw as at least what little Japanese I understand will be accurate.

gg’s editors/translators have a very bad lack of vocabulary, so whenever they encounter something that they can’t describe properly, all they do is use the f*** or s*** words. That’s how they function.

Very rude in my opinion (especially when the characters actually didn’t say it at all)
You’re only allowed to use such words if the characters actually used their exact equivalents in Japanese.

What is mildly impolite in Japanese becomes extravagantly rude in gg’s wrecked world.

Mochi is the best, 10/10 all the way.
