I. Your subs are defective. D: I can’t see them!

Get a codec pack that supports soft subs. Two really good ones are CCCP and K-LITE.

2. WHAR IS MAI XVID (.AVI) VIDEO FOR INSERT VIDEO HERE?

There are 2 answers for this:

a. It’s not done.

b. It hasn’t been uploaded. So quit yer bitchin’.

c. Encoder got kidnapped.

3. Why don’t you encode XviD first? My computer can’t play h264 files. D:

The preferred encoding is h264 for about 90% of the fansubbing world. It is around the same size as XviDs usually and it generally has a higher quality due to the larger resolution. The only time you would be complaining about a computer not being able to support h264 files is if your processor is like 1.0GHz. kthx

4. Will you sub insert series here?

Unless we make a post asking the public: What do you guys want us to sub?, chances are, we’re not.

5. Can I use your .ass file or translations to translate into another language?

Feel free to extract the .ass file or use our translation if you wish to translate it into a different language. There is no reason for you not to, unless it’s for English subs.

6. Are you doing WS?

If the show airs in 4:3, we will definitely be doing 16:9 versions. No, unfortunately, we don’t have sekret providers like some other group so Widescreen versions will be out when it airs. (3 weeks after normal version).  So it’ll be like Ep 1, Ep 2, Ep 3, Ep 4, Ep 1 WS(Airs on Ep 4 week), Ep, 5, Ep 2 WS, etc.

8. How do I apply as recruit?

1. Grab mIRC off www.mirc.com – Get something like XChat/BitchX/irssi for Linux
2. Type in: /server irc.rizon.net
3. Type in: /join #mochi – and – /join #mochi-recruits
4. Poke an op (@, &, or ~) in #mochi-recruits and wait for an answer.
5. ???
6. PROFIT!
